Questions about Orders

  • When is the deadline to place my catering order?

    • You must order by 11:59pm seven days before your delivery date. For example, order by 11:59pm on a Friday for delivery the following Friday.
  • Is there a minimum order requirement?

    • Yes, we have a minimum order amount of $350 before delivery fees and taxes.
  • Can I edit or reschedule my order after it's placed?

    • Yes, you can edit your order up to seven days before the delivery date. Any changes that increase the order value will be charged accordingly. If changes decrease the value, the balance will be refunded. No changes can be made after the deadline.
  • How do I cancel my order?

    If you need to cancel your order before the seven day deadline, you can do so on your account Deliveries page. A $35.00 administration will be charged for refunds. Refunds cannot be processed after the deadline has passed. 

Questions about Food

  • Is your food organic? Natural?

    • We use fresh, natural ingredients and prioritize local and organic options when available. Our meats are hormone-free and locally farmed, and our produce is fresh and non-frozen from Ontario farmers. We avoid artificial ingredients and preservatives.
  • Can I taste the food before ordering?

    • We don't offer samples, but we assure you our food is of the highest quality, featuring high-end, flavourful cuisine.
  • Do you have diabetic-friendly food?

    • Yes, each item is labeled with nutrition information, including dietary restrictions.
  • Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?

    • Yes, we offer vegetarian and vegan items free of animal products. Check our menu for ingredients and dietary details.
  • What if I have food allergies?

    • Read the ingredients carefully during the selection process. For severe allergies, we can't guarantee zero cross-contamination.
  • Do you offer gluten free meals?

    • Yes, many of our offerings are gluten free. Refer to the ingredients list before ordering.
  • How long does the food stay fresh?

    • Once receiving your order, don't leave food out at room temperature for over 1.5 hours. Refrigerate extras. Our preservative-free food should be consumed within 24 hours for best quality.
  • How should I defrost frozen food?

    • Place frozen food in your refrigerator overnight. Never defrost at room temperature.

  • How should I reheat warm items?

    • Warm items are delivered in aluminum trays. Preheat your oven to 350°F and heat the tray for about 10 minutes to reach the desired temperature.

    • Most items from our Mains and Side Dishes will be warm upon delivery, ensuring a comforting and satisfying meal. Feel free to reheat them to your desired temperature if you prefer an extra hot meal. Our menu also features a variety of appetizers and desserts intended to be enjoyed chilled or at room temperature.
  • Do you provide nutrition facts for the food?

    • Nutrition information is available for each item on our website, including calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates.
  • What if there is an issue with my order?

    • We aim to please, but if there's an error in your order, contact us. Please reach out to info@nutricater.ca for prompt assistance.

Questions about Delivery

  • When does Nutricater deliver?

    • We deliver Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. Choose from four time slots: 11am to 12pm, 12pm to 1pm, 1pm to 2pm, and 4pm to 5pm EST. Specific delivery times within these one hour windows can't be guaranteed.
  • What if I'm ordering to a large office building?

    • Ensure front desk or call box access, or orders will be left with the concierge. Provide a phone number for communication. No credits are issued if delivery access fails.

  • How much does delivery cost?

    • Delivery costs are based on your shipping details, package quantity, and item weight. The charges will appear on your order summary.

  • Can I track my delivery?

    • You can't track your delivery, but you'll receive a text notification when the driver is within 5km of your location.

    • We deliver within the Greater Toronto Area. Delivery zones and fees are detailed on our website.

  • How can I make changes to my account?

    • Make any changes before the seven-day deadline to apply to your delivery. Log into your account or email info@nutricater.ca for assistance.
  • How does billing work?

    • Your account is charged when you place your order. Any changes will be charged or credited accordingly.
